Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us!

Our program is built on the wonderful dedication of our volunteers. We currently coordinate over 650 literacy tutors and classroom helpers who promote literacy in Madison's elementary schools. We are constantly amazed and delighted by the breadth of our volunteers' abilities, and by the depth of their commitment.

There are many ways to get involved. Below you will find descriptions of our main programs and links to our listings on volunteeryourtime.org, where you can see which of our sites fit your interests and availability. A list of schools served by Schools of Hope is available on our contact page. Also, because all volunteers must complete and send in our volunteer application and disclosure forms before starting as a volunteer, we have included them for you to download and fill out.

As a volunteer-based organization, we're very mindful that each person's experience and qualifications are unique and valuable. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, or to discuss how you can get involved.
