Thoreau Elementary General Music

Students had an exciting year in music class! During the Spring, Ms. Houser taught us music while Mrs. Schilling was busy on sabbatical. The music you are hearing is "Cantare,Cantaras" by our 4/5 classes December 2006 concert. In the fall of 2006, we had Opera for the Young come to Thoreau in October to perform "Barber of Seville" with our own student cast! Students in grades 2 - 5 gave a concert in December and students in grades K and 1 gave classroom concerts in January. Thank you so much for your support and attendance at our school events!
