STUDENT MUSIC ACTIVITIES/CAMPS

MadCap Arts and Theatre has programs for grades K and up 238-7641
MSCR has some great music classes for school aged children
Rhapsody Arts Center in Verona offers summer music camps and music lessons

SUMMER KEYBOARD - Interested in working on your keyboard skills over the summer? You can purchase the very same piano book we use at school at Forbes Meagher on Odana Rd. or Ward-Brodt on Todd Dr. The book is: ALFRED D'AUBERGE Piano Course - Book 1. Both stores may need to order this, so call ahead. The book should cost $7.35 including tax. Don't have a piano or keyboard? Look at garage sales or second hand stores. Occasionally Shopko, Best Buy (etc..) will discount a discontinued model so keep your eye out. A good deal on a new keyboard would be under $100 (for this age). It should have FULL SIZE keys!
