Education Mission Statement
(revised fall 2003) The mission of the Technology Education Program, in the Madison Metropolitan School District, is to support the Board of Education ’s philosophy of Madison 2000 Teaching and Learning strategies. The opportunities in our Technology Education program will provide the knowledge, competencies, and skills necessary for students to succeed in a technological society.
The curriculum will provide opportunity for all students to explore, and have experiences at the introductory level, as well as provide for the development of occupational skills at the advanced level.
