The Islands of the Bahamas
http://www.bahamas.com/
Did you know that the Bahamas gained independence in 1973? I found this out at this great site. There are pictures of the people, food, beaches and beautiful scenery. This is lots about the history and who discovered it and when. Politics and government is explained thoroughly. There is information about culture, travel, news and weather, business and trade. There is even an image gallery! This site has good and accurate information and is easy to get around in. There is even a place you can go to and it gives you information for school projects! I recommend this site for people over ten years old.

Want to travel to "paradise"? Come to Belize. This site contains photos of activities and locations of interest in Belize. There is also a Spanish version. Another helpful feature are the maps. You can just print one off, and find your way. The site also tells about Belize's history, and describes the culture, and their many traditions. Special holidays and celebrations are also listed.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to visit another country or continent? Well, with this website, you can find out just that! This site offers information on any part of the world that you are wondering about. The main page will tell you about the major cities that tourists go and see. You can peek at the general facts about the country but, those alone get boring so go and check things to do over there. Or, how you could get there if you were planning to take a trip. For trips, you can find out about tours the region offers, car rental, cruises, trains, hotels, etc. You could check out how the weather is going. If you're interested in activities, you'll be overwhelmed by this wide array of topics. They have everything from agriculture to zoology. There's also a fun part of the site where you can send e-postcards to people with great pictures of the countries and cities on the site. I would recommend this website for anyone traveling or for basic research on a country.
