Spotlight on Chile
http://www.localaccess.com/chappell/chile/default.htm

Did you know that Chile has the driest desert and the longest mountain chain in the world? These are some things that you can learn from this site. This would be an outstanding site for research for a paper. The site has vivid pictures and it's easy to get around. This site was created by a high school Spanish teacher and the information is very accurate. He has lived, traveled and studied in this country intensively. The site is part of the International Webmaster's Association. If you want to learn about Chile, this is the site for you.Courtney H. had this to say about this site:Have you ever wanted to visit a country in South America? If so, you should try this site about Chile. It gives you a lot of useful news about the economy and recent history, and everything is very neatly organized in different groups. This site loads quickly and would be very useful if you were going on a trip to Chile or you needed organized information for an assignment or a report. It gives you a lot of facts without using too many words. It also has many good pictures. This site would probably be the most useful for older kids, maybe 6th grade and up.

Tierra Del Fuego - Argentina
http://www.tierradelfuego.ar/indexeng.hum

If you are looking for stunning photos of Tierra del Fuego, you will want to make sure to visit this site. While the pictures are wonderful, there is not much information to go along with the pictures. This page was written by the Tourism Board of Tierra del Fuego. It seems that they are trying to interest prospective travelers by showing them dazzling pictures of Argentina's beauty. This would be an excellent source for pictures that you may want to use to illustrate a report on Tierra del Fuego.

Venezuela Yours...
http://www.venezuelatuya.com/eng.htm

This is an awesome web site. The opening page is very eye appealing and talks about information relating only with Venezuela, even in the advertisements. As well as giving you a little background information and a map right off the bat, it also offers many sites you may jump to relating to tourist attractions as well as some national parks and hot spots across Venezuela. You can take a free online tour of Venezuela, and zoom in on a detailed map of the country and its cities. In additon to information in English, you can translate it into 5 other languages from Dutch to Portuguese. This is a RAW web site and I HIGHLY reccomend visiting it today!!
