We would like to thank Tashia and John Morgridge for their sponsorship of the KIDS Report. With their generous gift, the KIDS Report can continue to benefit K-12 students and teachers, expand the number of participants, and integrate technology into the K-12 curriculum during this interim year as we pursue more permanent funding.
The University of Wisconsin General Library System (GLS) has volunteered their support in the implementation of the project and the pursuit of permanent funding. We thank them for their enthusiasm, time and effort with the KIDS Report. GLS has indicated their interest and commitment to overseeing this project when permanent funding becomes available.
The development of this handbook was supported by the Internet Scout Project , which initially created and designed the KIDS Report. The Internet Scout Project provides timely information to the education community about valuable Internet resources; it is sponsored by the National Science Foundation. We thank them for their vision, their ongoing commitment and their support since the summer of 1996.
