Theater has been integrated in a variety of content areas including language arts, music, and art. Theater experiences may be available to students on a large scale, such as a high school after school production or in a more intimate setting, such as a theatrical reading in a language arts class. Select schools have theater classes. Several community theater groups have been working with the Madison Metropolitan School District to provide a variety of theater experiences to students K-12. Please review our fine arts calendar to see which schools are presenting plays, musicals, or theatrical reading events. Thank you for visiting our site.
