Lesson Plan

Purpose:

Step by Step…

Step 1 Read the book, Feelings by Aliki.
Step 2

Open a new word processing document.


Step 3 Type the words, "I feel." Copy the words and paste them on ten separate lines.
Step 4

Next add the ending phrase to each line and finish the sentence with a feeling that you have had.

  • I feel angry when...
  • I feel hapy when...
  • I feel sad when...
  • I feel tired when...
  • I feel shy when...
  • I feel scared when...
  • I feel jealous when...
  • I feel brave when...
  • I feel proud when...
  • I feel silly when...

Step 5   Select Save As... from the File menu and name your work.
Step 6   Open KidPics or ClarisWorks and draw a face to match each expression used above. Save your work.
Step 7   Copy and paste the pictures into your word processing document.
