Lesson Plan
Purpose:
- Create a clasroom book that students can read to themselves
- Familarize students with animals and their sounds
Step by Step…
| Step 1 |

Read the book Hi, Pizza Man! by
Virginia Walter.
|
| Step 2 |
Create a background template beforehand consisting
of a doorway and pizza box. Have the students open the template.
|
| Step 3 |
Use Moving Truck to move the pizza box
where you want it: will the animal be carrying it with its feet? Hands?
On its back?

| Step 4 |
Use the pencil tool to draw
your animal AROUND the pizza box.
|
| Step 5 |
Use the paintbucket to fill in the animal.
|
| Step 6 |
|
Get Typewriter and write: _____(animal
sound, animal sound) Pizza _____ (animal)!
|
| Step 7 |
|
Save and print.
