Making a Text Box
Claris Works / AppleWorks
- Hold down the Option / Alt key
and click on the Text tool.

- Click and drag to create a text box.
- To move the text box, click on the Arrow
tool and then on the text box. You will see handles in the four corners.
- Click in the center of the text box and drag to the desired location.
Microsoft Word:
- Click on the Text tool located
at the bottom of the page.
- Click and drag on the page to create a text box.

- To move the text box, highlight the text. A line will appear around
the text.
- Click on the line to move the box.
