Lesson Plan

Purpose:

  • Learn how to open a template into KidPix
  • Learn how to pick a stamp
  • See how to edit stamps

Step by Step:

Step 1 Read the book Freight Train by Donald Crews to class.
Step 2 Show students how to open template.
Step 3 Show students how to pick a stamp set that has trains in it.
Step 4 Demonstrate how to edit a stamp. (Think about changing each car of the train to a different color of the rainbow as shown in the book.)
Step 5 Have students stamp their stamps onto the trellis bridge.
Step 6 Have students color in the hill below and stamp their name on the page.
Step 7 Save and print.
