identifying triangles, circles, squares, rectangles, parallelograms;

naming, defining, and classifying two-dimensional figures by geometric attributes;

analyzing relationships between and among the angles, sides, side lengths, perimeters and areas of objects.
Specify locations and describe spatial relationships (WMAS C.8.2, C. 8.5) by

using, but not necessarily naming, the first quadrant of a rectangular coordinate system;

using terms such as parallel, perpendicular, intersecting, congruent, similar.
