Deadline Approaching for Nominations for Distinguished Service Awards

 

It's time to nominate individuals for the District's most prestigious honor — the Distinguished Service Award.

Anyone may nominate persons for awards in categories that include

  • Administrators,
  • Building Services/Trades,
  • Clerical/Technical,
  • Citizens,
  • Custodians,
  • Educational Assistants,
  • Food Service,
  • Support Staff,
  • Teachers and
  • Teams.

The nomination process is simple.

  1. Answer five questions;
  2. Collect three letters of support;
  3. Submit the nomination by Monday, JANUARY 30, 2006

Nominate a Student for a Joe Thomas Community Service Award

Do you know an incredibly civic-minded high school senior?

Each year one student from each MMSD High School who meets a qualifying score is honored with the Joe Thomas Community Service Award for High School Seniors. This is a wonderful community recognition opportunity for students.

Save the date: Awards ceremony is April 10, 2006 at La Follette High School.
