Aristos Scholars

Seven new Scholars were selected to join the Aristos Scholars Academy. All seven were previous Aristos grant recipients who implemented their grants in an exemplary manner. Meet David Wasserman, one of the new scholars:
David Wasserman
David is currently teaching at Sennett Middle School. He was a math teacher at Wright Middle School when he proposed and implemented his Aristos grant. David has an active interest in bike riding and through his Aristos grant David shared his love of biking with Wright students in an after-school program. Students learned how a bicycle works from basic components to more complex mechanical functions as they overhauled bicycles to a safe and functional state. The reconditioned bicycles were donated back to children in the community.
