It is with this understanding that the district has set up employee assistance services. An Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) is a voluntary and confidential program designed to promote the well being of employees and their family members regarding a broad range of concerns. Assistance is available through employee volunteers at many schools or through a 24-hour-a-day, 365 day- per-year, help line administered by Heitzinger & Associates at 1-800-362-3902, ext. 1310. Speaking with a counselor is free of charge. However, it a referral leads to securing the services of an outside agency or health care provider, there may be a charge for such services.
