Teacher Unpaid Personal leave days may not be used during last two weeks of the semester without approval from the Superintendent

Employee Assistance Plan

The Madison Metropolitan School District recognizes that employees may from time to time face crises for which they require support and special resources. It is with this understanding that the district has set up employee assistance services. An Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) is a voluntary and confidential program designed to promote the well being of employees and their family members regarding a broad range of concerns.

Assistance is available through employee volunteers at many schools or through a 24-hour-a-day, 365 day- per-year, help line administered by Heitzinger & Associates at 1-800-362-3902, ext. 1310. Speaking with a counselor is free of charge. However, it a referral leads to securing the services of an outside agency or health care provider, there may be a charge for such services.

Any employee or member of your household may use the EAP for personal, family or work related concerns.
