Active employees working 19 or more hours per week, or a 50% or more contract, are eligible for the District's Health insurance. If you are not participating in the Health Insurance program you may add coverage for yourself and/or eligible dependents during the annual Open Enrollment. If you currently participate in the Health insurance you can change your Health insurance to the other plan available to you during this time.
Save taxes and budget your expenses. Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to do both. Now is the annul opportunity to enroll in, or change your participation in the Medical and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts. See the schedule attached for meetings to assist you in learning more about Flexible Spending Accounts.
The deadline for Open Enrollment and Annual Choice for Health insurance and Flexible Spending Accounts is 5:00pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2006. All enrollments and changes are effective January 1, 2007.
