MSCR summer program registration began on March 12 with 892 online registrations. Total registration the first day was up 33 percent from last year.
In some program areas, registration was higher online than via traditional registration: Adventure - 66 percent online, MMSD Enrichment - 54 percent and swimming - 63 percent online. This compares to an overall online registration of 27 percent for Winter 2007. The MSCR office is still very busy. Program assistants registered 882 participants via mail and fax one day, making the grand total for that day 1,726. The customer line at the reception desk was constantly at least three people long all day.
MSCR continues to make registration easier for the customer. This fall, the Goodman-Rotary 50+ Fitness classes will be available for online registration.
