Free Funding for Your School or Program? Consider Applying for a Mini-Grant

This year's round of district-wide mini-grant competitions has begun. These competitions require only a short and simple application that can be submitted to multiple funding sources, and the administrative signoff process remains simple too (only your principal or district department head need approve). The rewards can be significant: up to $15,000 for a special program or project that you'd like to offer your students. This year's remaining application deadlines are:

  • Foundation for Madison's Public Schools — January 23, 2006
  • Evjue Foundation — February 20, 2006
  • Lands' End Corporation — February 20, 2006
  • Aristos Grant Program — March 1, 2006

Information and application materials for each competition will be available for downloading from the Grants and Fund Development Office website. And while you're there, you can also scroll down, click around, and learn about many more grant opportunities and other resources available to district staff grantseekers.
