Vol. II No. 9 - August 6, 2007
Allis Elementary — Project includes boiler replacement, new temperature controls, electrical upgrade, new classroom unit ventilators and repairs to the foundation walls. The old steam boilers will be replaced with energy efficient hot water boilers. The project is ahead of schedule and will be completed by September 4.
Hamilton/Van Hise Middle/Elementary — Work includes replacing the classroom unit ventilators and installing a new fire alarm system. Several classrooms in the lower level will get new flooring. The Van Hise gym floor is also being replaced. Work is on schedule to be completed by September 4.
Toki/Orchard Ridge Middle/Elementary — The parking lot paving is complete. The windows and doors on half the school are being replaced this summer. The rest will be done during the summer of 2008. The work for this summer will be complete for the start of school. Window replacement is currently about 50% complete.
Cherokee Middle — The exterior doors were replaced. That work is complete.
East High — East will get a partial roof replacement over the technical education area. Work is underway, and scheduled to be completed by September 4.
Franklin Elementary — Partial roof replacement is underway and scheduled to be completed by September 4.
La Follette High — A large section of the roof is being replaced as a result of hail damage last fall. Work will be completed by August 30.
Lincoln Elementary — Partial roof replacement is underway, due to hail damage in the fall. Scheduled to be completed by September 4.
Randall Elementary — The public address system is being replaced. Work has started and is about 50% complete. All work will be done by September 4.
West High — Re-paving the courtyard is currently underway, with a scheduled completion date of August 10.
Mansfield Baseball Stadium — New lighting will be installed. Work is to start on August 17 and be completed by September 15.

Allis Elementary is undergoing major upgrades, such that the main 1st floor hallway (above) is hardly recognizable and classroom floor spaces have been totally cleared.
