Kaylea Hanson, SEA, Stephens ES
Kaylea, one of our awesome SEAs, has an extremely challenging job, working
with some of our very special students. Kaylea supports students in an
inclusive environment, with a can do attitude. She is always positive,
continually problem solving with our Special Education staff on how best to
meet the needs of students. Kaylea will get to know her students and
families outside of school by attending events at the Allied Center or
baking cookies at students' homes. Stephens is so fortunate to have her on
staff.
Rosalyn Jones-Knight, Sennett MS
Rosalyn (RJ) Jones-Knight, MSCR-Urban League-Juventud Coordinator. Ms.
Jones-Knight coordinates Sennett's strong after school clubs and sports
program, the tutor-mentor program, as well as co-advising the
Sister-to-Sister group. She is a role model, advocate and mentor for all
students. She is nothing less than amazing!
Mike Shoultz, Randall ES
Mike teaches fifth grade at Randall, but it seems like he teaches every
grade! Mike is certified as a Ropes Course facilitator, so he supports
several classes when they go to the course, along with helping kids and
teachers all over the building with projects, good ideas and general
community building. He is an expert on strategies to support students with
autism and helps us all plan supportive programming for all students. Mike
also heads up the social committee...a very important task! We are very
thankful for all Mike Shoultz does for all of us at Randall.
Don White, Black Hawk MS math teacher
Don is always there for his students before school, lunch time, or after
school. He communicates with parents weekly via email, phone calls, and
notes home. Don is a positive teacher, and is there to help Black hawk
Middle School whenever it is needed.
