Sarah Galanter has been appointed the interim principal at Stephens Elementary School for the remainder of the school year. She replaces Karen Sieber who is relocating to the Milwaukee area due to a change in her husband's work.
Galanter transitioned to her new position with Sieber for the last two weeks of school before Winter Break.
Galanter had been a resource teacher at Glendale Elementary and has interned as a Summer School principal for the last two years. Sarah holds Master's degrees in school administration and social service administration, and previously taught in East Harlem, NY and Chicago.
