Healthy Classrooms SymposiumUW-Madison Medical Students are bringing public health into the classrooms. Healthy Classrooms: A Public Health in Education Symposium — to be held on Wednesday April 9th — will provide new and exciting ways for teachers, principals, administrators and parents to increase classroom awareness of important public health issues. Topics from approaching sexual education, to ADHD and depression, and the obesity epidemic, as well as many more will be presented to raise awareness and encourage integration of public health into the k-12 curriculum. All teachers, parents, and community members are encouraged to participate in this FREE event. This symposium qualifies for professional advancement credit and will be followed by a catered reception with hors d'oeuvres.
