About Lapham

Lapham Elementary School is located on Madison's Isthmus. The attendance area is bordered by the State Capitol to the west, First Street to the east and lakes Mendota and Monona to the north and south. A K-2 school, it is paired with Marquette Elementary, which serves grades 3-5.

As of the 07/08 school year the building also houses three alternative middle- and high school programs, collectively referred to as the Affiliated Alternatives.
