Exit Tasks

Per District Guidelines, all Web pages published on the District Web server(s) must have a Certified Editor listed on each page. Staff members may become Certified Editors by taking the District Editing Course (Web Design & Development) and creating a group of Web pages that meet the following minimum criteria:

Tasks presented in class should help participants prepare for the exit task.

The pages should be ready to be submitted for evaluation at the end of the Editing Course.

Participants will decide if they wish to be evaluated for Editing and/or Publishing competencies. If participants choose to be evaluated, evaluation will be completed by the instructor(s). Those successfully completing the course will receive a diploma from the Webmaster. Those needing more experience can take the publishing course again and be re-evaluated. A summary sheet of incomplete competencies will be given to participants who have not successfully completed the evaluation.
