- A free, small browser for the Mac. It lets you determine how you want elements
displayed; e.g. STRONG text could be blue and underlined, and B text could be green and
in italics. Interesting little browser.

- BME 3.2
- This is a great freeware graphic editor and converter. It won't beat Photoshop,
but it is free, which beats Photoshop's price.
- GIF Converter
- This shareware application converts graphics to and from many different formats,
can make transparent GIFs, and animated GIFs. There is an educational discount, but
you have to e-mail the author of the software for more information.
- MicroFrontier Color It!
- Color It! offers many of Photoshop's abilities for only $50.
- Photoshop
- Well, if you've got the $609, might as well get the best! Also available for Windows (Win95/8).
- Transparency
- This little freeware will easily create transparent GIFs with one click of the mouse.

- AOL Press
- This free HTML Editor is available for Macs and Windows.
- Spyglass
- This is an HTML Validator for Windows 95 that you can run on your own computer.
It only validates HTML 3.2, not HTML 4.0. Be sure to tell it to validate against
HTML 3.2 in the Options after you install it.
- BBEdit Lite
- This is a great editor for Macs. Download BBEdit Lite, not BBEdit
Demo.
- Programmer's File Editor
- This is a super freeware text editor for Windows 95/98 or 3.1. You
can open many files at once, do find & replace, make templates for documents, and
write keyboard macros to reduce repetition.
- Arachnophilia
- This is a very good HTML Editor for Windows 95/98. Check out the
author's "Careware" concept.

- This is a small freeware program for Windows 95/98 with which
you can easily make image maps.
- MapMaker
- This is a small shareware program for the Mac which makes image
maps very easily.
- MapEdit
- This is a small shareware for Macs (with Java), Windows 3.1 and Windows
95/98. There is an educational discount, but you have to call a long distance
number to find out what it is.
