- This person posts pages to the MMSD Web server, created by themselves or an Author.
Publishers confirm that all Web documents published meet the MMSD District policies.
To become certified, a person needs to successfully complete the Web Publishing course.
Only Staff members can become Publishers.
- Author
- This person creates the design and content of the Web page, which needs to be
compliant with District policies. Web pages which are created by authors who are
students or school volunteers need to have a sponsoring staff member to verify the
accuracy of the content.
While there is no specific process to becoming an "Author," it is strongly recommended
that an Author work closely with a Certified Publisher in order to facilitate the Web
page development process.
