[Supt. Nerad] Welcome to the Madison Metropolitan School District. We are delighted to share this great school district with you. Madison schools are some of the very finest in the nation with a long history of excellence. From our extraordinary number of National Merit Scholars to our increasing graduation rate, our students excel.

We are over 3,000 adults dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for all children. Our goals are to see that every child has the necessary skills and knowledge to be a successful adult and provide opportunities in learning that stretch them to their maximum potential. All of our schools pair a superb academic environment with opportunities for success in activities outside the classroom.
