By the end of 8th grade, all students should be able to type at least 25 words per minute with 95% accuracy. At 7th grade, students practice keyboarding skills daily for 8-10 minutes using the Ultrakey keyboarding program.

Students are rated daily by the teacher. Grades are given based on correct posture, finger position, and general effort.
